Ishin Sushi

A simple lunch at this restaurant cost me RM133. Really simple. Just a few sashimi, fish roe etc...




First is the Premium Sushi(RM60). The portion is much more bigger then any other sushi I have try before. That salmon fish cut for example, I think is 2 piece of Salmon Sashimi portion in normal shop. The 2nd sushi from right look like some black thing? That is caviar.

This is the first time I try caviar, and honestly it is not as good as what I expected. Perhaps this is the most low grade caviar.



Cawanmushi(RM18). The bottom is of course chicken egg. From left it is fish roe, caviar, seaurchin. A very nice dish for a cheap price(In my opinion).



Fresh Hokkaido Sea Urchin (RM38 - If I remember correctly). This one is nice. The sea urchin is fresh.

So that conclude my super expensive lunch. But considering what I have for the lunch, caviar, sea urchin etc, one should not complain the meal as expensive.

Memories of ex lover....

I suppose to upload more of the nice food that I eat recently. But instead I feel want to write this first...

It all start when a friend of mine put at her facebook status, she asking for advice on what to do. Because she just find her bf is still keeping photo of his ex girlfriend.

I think this is really a common problem for most lover now. Unless you lover now is your lucky first love. But to most people, they will be dating 2-3 times or maybe more in their life before getting married. So for each lover they have, at that time, that moment, they really love the lover. Thus the will do lots of romantic things. And these thing will be the memory for them. However when the relationship ends, should they just throw away all these memory?

For me, the answer is no. We learn from history, learn from mistake. For example, the current lover may love me because I am romantic and caring lover. However my first girlfriend maybe broke up with me because I am not romantic enough. Thus I learn to be more romantic. The 2nd lover maybe broke up with me because I am not a caring lover. Thus I learn to be more caring after broke up with her. Because of my experience with these past lover, I learn to be a better person and therefore my current girlfriend love me.

Another possible situation is you suddenly find out that your lover has been to Paris with ex. So what will you do, scold him for going to Paris without her? Logically, you did not meet him yet that time. So how can it be possible he go with you. Or perhaps you just can't imagine what he can possibly do with his ex at Paris. All the thing that you hope you can do such as go up the Eiffel Tower. And he has done it but with his ex. Feel unhappy and want him to do again with you? Even if he do this with you, you still can't destroy the fact that he has gone Paris before. Ask him to burn all the photo for Paris? That still the same because memory can be in the heart.

And if you remember correctly, when you start the relationship with him, you probably already ask him you are his girlfriend number what. And you choose to accept this with open heart. At that moment you should know that he has memory of him and his ex. If you can't accept, you should just say no before you start the relationship.

My advise for anyone that is facing the problem now, remember now is what that is most important. Just make sure that now the one he love the most is you and not the ex lover, then forgive and forget all the rest.

Yuzu Restaurant MidValley

I have always love Yuzu food. Fresh sashimi and their ikura taste is heavenly. Ikura that melt in the mouth with a little bit of saltiness that reminds you the taste of ocean. Heavens

Now Yuzu has gone thru some renovation since my last blog about it. The wooden panel on the left handside of the restaurant is refurbish to show a small sushi bar.

The interior decoration has change with kimono hanging on the wall, more plant decoration.

The menu also have new comer but lesser choice for set menu.

Anyway lets start with the new dish that I try. The Yuzu Volcano Sushi.


This dish is recommended to me by another blogger Ms Jazz. And it is really good. A must try

Next dish is the Saikoro Wagyu Beef

I remember this is the same dish that I order in my previous blog, and it really don't taste as good as before. I remember the beef use to feel like it is melting in my mouth. Something that no other beef steak can match no matter how tender is the beef steak. But of course this do not means it is not good. It is still one of the best beef you will ever try.




My Unagi set with Soba Mee in cute little bamboo bowl. The Unagi taste is one of the best I ever had. The sauce they use is very thick and exquisite taste.


This is call Saba Kuwayaki with fresh egg. According to my friend, it taste is bad and it is too oily.


Teriyaki chicken that is order by my friend, taste is very good. I try one small piece, and find that it is still as good as before. (^^)


For dessert, I order this Green Tea Mochi. It is unlike mochi that I have try before.
This one is more sticky but not so soft. And you can taste the rice.

So conclusion, Yuzu is still the best Japanese restaurant for me. (^___^)

Garden Restaurant at Garden Midvalley.

Kind of confusing title right. There is a restaurant name Garden Restaurant in One Utama. Now it opening a new branch in Midvalley. Near the bridge between Garden and Midvalley.

I have always wanted to try this restaurant in One Utama, but always something happen. Anyway, this time I got the chance to try their branch in MidValley.





Just like the name suggest, this restaurant theme is a garden style restaurant.
So you will have the feel of sitting in garden and have a high tea. It will be better if the floor is also grass. Coz I love to step on soft grass with my bare feet. (^^)






Now the food is really so so. The chef did try to think of new kind of food for the menu and the taste is not bad. But not that fantastic.


This is the Mix Fruit Tea. It sounds better when I read it in the menu. But taste really not that great. I did not finish it even though I am thirsty.


The mushroom cream soup is nice. Some restaurant will prepare this soup with more cream and just a few piece of mushroom. Garden Restaurant choose to include more mushroom inside which is good. I like it.


Ham sandwich is really plain. Not much suprise here.


This is the salmon fish steak with orange sauce. A really special dish that I really never seen something familiar in any other restaurant. Taste is surprisingly unexpected. Because orange and salmon don't seems to match.

Conclusion, I would give them a 3 star. Good Environment, Food is not bad.

New Year Eve meal at Jogoya

New Year Eve dinner... and now only I post it. Hahaha

So me and 1 guy 2 gal go for dinner buffet at Jogoya. For most KL people, this place should be familiar. Unless you are the kind of people that don't like Japanese raw sashimi or don't like buffet. So lets just skip the intro of this place and see the photo.




















Some comment, the shark fin and red wine is compliment of Jogoya. It is good only because it is free of charge. If I need to use the member coupon for this, then it is bad. The Cod Fish that many complain is getting bad, well remember that this is fried fish. So if you feel it is bad, then perhaps you can tell me which place fried fish is very nice and tell me how marvelous or fantastic it is compare to other place. For me I feel it is still good and recommended for you to try it. The coconut, tempura, oyster etc is still as good as before. Variety of food is there.

Now complain about Jogoya. Damn you for changing Unagi to Jogoya Member only dish. 2nd, damn you for no more Mochi on that day. Perhaps you can provide a small map that show location of food. Because some of the food now is at alley that is easily miss by other people.

Conclusion, Jogoya quality if compare to the first time I went there, it is really downgraded quality. But when compare to other restaurant offering, their buffet is still among the best. So unless appear another new shop that win my heart, Jogoya is still the place that I will go.

Chinese New Year approaching

Honestly I don't like Chinese New Year. Not just because of Chinese New Year period, I need to face those relative and need to answer their question. It is also because normal daily routine all will be mess up by the reason "Chinese New Year ma...."

For example, the mee store may not be selling mee anymore because they are now selling Chinese New Year Biscuit. The road will be more jam then usual because everyone is coming out to buy Chinese New Year thing. The radio no longer can listen to normal song but instead you will be listening to Chinese New Year song. This is one of the thing I hate the most. Chinese New Year song. Most is 0 creativity that keep repeating hope for God of Fortune to arrive. Hope for better year. I mean one song of these is enough but 10 song and each just saying the same thing without much different, what is the point? Should this be counted as pirated song?

There is so many other reason for me to hate CNY. What is the reason for us to have CNY? Although, the answer maybe different for many person, but I totally cannot agree with reason such as CNY is for GAMBLE. CNY is for getting Ang Pow. CNY is for eating and sleeping.

Also when CNY arrive it normally also means Valentine Day has come. Haiz.....

Korean Drama Fever

Spend the weekend at house watching a Korean drama named "King of Baking, Kim Takgu". It is not latest but still quite new. It has 50% air rating. Even surpass "My Name is Kim Sam Soon". Now this may not sound really something remarkable, but take note that this drama is on air during the WORLD CUP 2010 period.

Story wise, it started out as old fashion drama where a wealthy family with the husband have 2 wife. He don't love first wife and love the 2nd wife more. Thus begin the first wife as the evil person trying her best to kick 2nd wife out of the house. But as the plot continue there is a lot of small detail and storyplot in the drama that keep the audience interested and wanting more. I remember I always tell myself that this gonna be the last episode of the day but when it reach the ends, I say "Let's just watch one more."

Just watch this drama if you got the chance. Recommended by me. Even though I not even reach half of the drama yet (Watched till episode 13), I am already in love with it. The first Korean drama I watch since "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho"

Eat.Pray.Love

Just finish watch this movie. A very interesting movie that suit the name of this blog a lot.

OK not the pray part. Meditation will kill me... SO for me it gonna be EAT.PLAY.LOVE. :P

A friend of me is planning for such a trip for 6 months in New Zealand. Working in farms and part time while off to play around in free time. Honestly I am so tempted to go. But I need to face the reality. The reality that I am a poor guy to indulge such a backpacking travel.

I can't imagine go travel and then comeback to find that I spent all my saving, without any jobs and still need economy bailout from my parents. I promise myself that no matter how difficult I am, I will not need money from my parent anymore. Because I have use enough parent money from when I grow up till now.

So God, if you really have destiny plan for me somehow, or that you want me to go too, please let me win lottery first before I go. So that I won't comeback penniless.
