Sometimes it is so nice to have a good friend that can suddenly go on a trip with you.
You just need to ask if he is free or not. When he is, he will say yes.
And this is what happen to this trip. We talk about it on Saturday evening. Arrange booking thru internet the same evening.
Destination : Avillion Port Dickson
Not much choice of room to choose. The resort is almost full when we checked. We had to choose the Water Chalet. RM 720 for a Water Chalet. If with someone else, they will say the room is too expensive and will give up. But a BFF will want to go ahead and relax.
So off we go depart from KL at 10am. Reach there around 1pm. The room is not ready yet.
So we walk around the resort. And then we found the reason why this resort is so pack on this week.
Beach wedding is a dream wedding for many girls. A girl will fulfill the dream today.
Although I don't know the couple, wish them Happily Ever After.
The resort is actually very small. If we don't try taking artistic photo, we can finish touring the resort in 15 minutes. There is 3 type of room available. Garden chalet, Water Chalet and Premium Water Chalet. The Premium Water Chalet is the room with open sea view.
The room is finally ready but it is really not that spectacular. Perhaps I am expecting more given the price they charge me. TV have very limited number of channel. Amenities such as towel is just enough. Most 5 star hotel that I have stay before will have extra towel available for the hotel guest.
Also no available power socket near the table or next to the bed. A big minus on this.
But of course there is some nice touch too. Such as a comfortable bed that is place right next to the window. You can lie down here with your lover, read a book here or a group of fren gather on the bed and have some poker time.
Underneath of the shower is pebbles. I guess for Hotel Guest that have spend their time at the beach, they can wash away the sands here and won't feel the sands sticky at their feet because of the pebbles. Next to this shower is open air. You can see moonlight shining down. Very romantic to have shower in the middle of night.
The bath tub is available too for people that prefer to use bath tub instead of shower.
Although the room stated that this is for 2 guest but with the extra bedding, Family with 2 kids can fit in this room easily.
The view from my chalet balcony. Since I did not book the premium water chalet, so no sea view for me. But the balcony is a nice relaxing place for chatting and listening to the sea wave. Also notice many fishing enthusiast bring their fishing rod for some fishing here.
Not much to do here. The beach is almost occupy by the coming wedding ceremony. So me and my friend decide to go for massage.
The room for the massage is quite nice. With a nice balcony for us to enjoy some tea after massage.
But this is certainly the most expensive massage I had in my life. 2 Person massage for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Price RM 450. Ouch~!!!
But is it worth it, well if just their service and the tea, it is not worth it. But after the massage, we can go to the lounge to relax a while.
A priceless view. We spend like 30 minutes here. Not willing to leave the place. Even though our stomach is playing music. But the wedding couple and their photographer come to this lounge for some photo session.
And so we decide to leave and let them take some nice amazing photo for them to reminiscence in years to come.
Next is the Dinner meal. We ask some advise from the hotel concierge. The map they provide is really a rough map. Luckily, we able to reach the place by our Men Seventh Sense.
It is dusk when we reach the place. We mange to take some photo while waiting for the food to arrive.
Awesome view of the dusk. Remind me of the saying “夕阳无限好，只是近黄昏。”
Beside the nice steam fish, the rest is disappointing.
We go to nearby town and search for some snack and beers. And after that is some beer party in the room. A small incident happen. It seems the power issue for the water chalet that we stay. When we open the air cond, water heater, TV and hair dryer at the same time, the fuse jump and cause a bit of let down. The wedding ceremony continue at the beach with some fireworks.
The next day we went to the cafe for breakfast, but it really is bad. Feels like some 3-4 star hotel breakfast instead of a 5 star hotel. Luckily it is free of charge.
We make use of the time left before the check out time and went to the beach for some relaxing moment.
After many tries, finally success to take this photo. Footstep that I left at the sands. We try to leave quietly but trace of us will be left behind to show that we had been here. “凡走过，必留下痕迹。”
