Eat Pray Love - Tokyo Trip Day 2 - Shibuya

Tokyo Trip - Eat Pray Love - Day 2 - Shibuya

Plan for the day : Shinjuku - Harajuku - Shibuya.

Look for the famous Hachiko Shrine in Shibuya and the Shibuya Human Crossing.

Been walking for hours plus the lack of sleep. Feeling tired.

A big mall that sell camera etc. Many photograph lover come to Japan to look for lens or scamera. I heard it is cheaper compare to Malaysia. But I am tired to continue walk inside.

At first look, I thought this is some office tower building. But it turn out this is Shibuya Hikarie. A shopping mall. This looks like 18th level of Hell to me. I wonder do Japanese guy need to accompany their GF shopping?

A chocolate special shop. 4 stories full of chocolate.

Hachiko shrine. This shrine is erected to commemorate a faithful Akita dog. In 1924, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo, took in Hachikō, a golden brown Akita, as a pet. During his owner's life, Hachikō greeted him at the end of each day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return. The professor had suffered from a cerebral hemorrhage and died, never returning to the train station where Hachikō was waiting. Each day for the next nine years Hachikō awaited Ueno's return, appeared precisely when the train was due at the station.

The famous Shibuya crossing. It is hard to imagine hundred or maybe thousand of people crossing a road when it is red light for the car. This is also the shooting location for movie Too Fast Too Furious:Tokyo Drift.
