Tokyo Trip - Eat Pray Love - Hotel Room

Tonight is a very cold night. With the strong wind blowing. I decide to go back hotel earlier.
But still not tired from all the walk on the day. So I decide to take photo of the hotel room that I stay

As most probably know, the land space in Tokyo is sky rocketed high. Thus hotel room is very expensive in Tokyo.

I manage to book this room thru Agoda for RM 180 per night. But take note that the room is really small. Suitable for a single traveler only. For lover that can hug each other and sleep, then it is still possible. But for friends, it is best to book 2 rooms or look for other hotel that offer 2 single bed in their room.

The desk is messy. full of my belonging. Notice bottom left hand corner, that is the place I put my suitcase. Japan hotel don't provide any mineral water. The pipe water is safe for drinking. But if you are not convince, you can cook the water first.

The bed is large for single but small for two person. Please take note to choose 2 person or inform the hotel concierge that you have 2 person in the room.

The washroom is small but all the basic amenities is provided.

This maybe is the smallest bathtub I ever seen. but it is high enough so that you can enjoy hot bath tub.

The hotel shampoo is large. I wonder is it to prevent the hotel guest from bringing it back home.
But for those super stingy guest, this won't work. Oopss... I don't mean I bring it home.

Facial soap is provided too. And it is not some cheap stuff. The hotel provide Shiseido face soap.

The power plug in Japan is using 2 pin. See the power plug at the right of the photo.
For Malaysia traveler, remember to bring along a universal adapter as the two flat pin used here is not the standard pin in Malaysia.

Normally Japan hotel don't provide free WIFI in the room. The hotel will provide LAN cable plug and the Internet may be free or charged. Please take note to check with the hotel first before usage.
Some hotel offer free WIFI at the lobby area.

This alarm clock is not something I bring to Tokyo. It is provided by the hotel.

There is no cupboard but still a small place to hang clothes is there.

The free green tea and red tea from the hotel.

A small refrigerator. But the first time I don't see any alcoholic drinks or snack inside the refrigerator. There is vending machine at every floor that sell the drinks and snack.

The TV is showing the Japanese channel only. No ESPN, HBO here. So if you want some English movie, you have to purchase the ticket at the vending machine first. And then key in the code at the TV here.

Japan "love action" movie is available too.

But just open the TV and watch. You might find some interesting surprise. I found Japan TV station is showing Taiwan idol drama 犀利人妻 (The Fierce Wife). It is voiced in Japanese language though. Not Chinese with Japanese word as subtitle.
