Next stop is the Tokyo train station. A bit confusing but I guess this is where Tokyo city start before it slowly expand to include other district such as Shibuya, Shinjuku etc.
Tokyo train station is also an important train transit station. Passenger can take the Shinkansen(新幹線) from this station to other part of Japan. For people that never heard of Shinkansen, it is more widely known as Bullet Train.
Most major souvenir shop have a branch in this station. It is separated to a few different street and area under ground. The Anime Street, the Bento Street, The Ramen Street, and Snack Street.
Destination for this place is the Ramen Street to taste one of the best Ramen shop in Japan(九段 斑鳩). Taste good. (^____^)
Vending machine again. Buy the ticket from this machine and then give the ticket to the waiter and they will deliver the food to you.
Yummy!!!
After meal, walk out of the station for some photo shot. The Tokyo Station maintain the old nostalgic look. Another side of this station is under restoration work, so I can only take the photo for this side that is facing the Imperial Palace.
The tree here show bright yellow leaves. But the arrangement is not as good as Meiji Gaien in my opinion.
Little pond outside the imperial palace.
Palace Hotel, the closest hotel to the Tokyo Imperial Palace. Look prestigious.
The Tokyo Imperial Palace building still maintain the old Edo period era building style. Any samurai inside? Can I find Samurai X? LOL
This is the famous bridge that leads to the Imperial Palace. Inside is the living place for the Japan Emperor.
The field here is layer with small rock. I wonder why it is rock and not tar for road, or grass field.
Any Japanese that can answer me?
This photo, this place let me feel Tranquility. Peace.
Gardening art. A tree that is taken care like a bonsai to create this. Very pretty.
This should be a very famous shogun. Since it can have a statue in front of the palace. Not that familiar with Japan history.
Maple tree with red leaves. Not as pretty as Hakone maple tree.
Some art sculpture that is at road side. I always fail to understand what is these so called art means.....
Finally found a luggage keeping area in Tokyo station that is for large luggage. It is enough to keep most large luggage.
Next stop is the Anime Street.
Rilakuma shop. Kawaii~neh!!!!
I wonder what is this brown puppet. From the shop, it say this is mascot for NHK satellite TV and is called Domo.
Tokyo Banana chocolate is one of famous snack in Japan. And a great souvenir to bring back home. Must purchase wor.
